Český národní komitét historiků

Český národní komitét historiků (ČNKH) je oficiálním reprezentantem obce historiků České republiky, zvláště v kontaktech s Mezinárodním komitétem historických věd (ICHS – International Committee of Historical Sciences / CISH – Comité International des Sciences Historiques) a s národními komitéty historiků v zahraničí, resp. s interními komisemi ICHS a s přidruženými mezinárodními organizacemi ICHS. ČNKH je rovněž garantem činnosti některých bilaterálních mezinárodních komisí historiků (česko-slovenské a česko-ruské). Zřizovatelem ČNKH je Rada pro zahraniční styky Akademie věd ČR, která jmenuje členy ČNKH na návrh výboru Sdružení historiků ČR a jež také hradí poplatky spojené se zastoupením České republiky v Mezinárodním komitétu historických věd.

Czech National Committee of Historians

The Czech National Committee of Historians (CNCH) is the official representative of the historians’ community of the Czech Republic, in particular with regard to the contacts with the International Committee of Historical Sciences/ Comité international des sciences historiques (ICHS/CISH) as well as with the national committees of historians abroad, or with internal ICHS commissions and with associated ICHS international organizations. At the same time, CNCH guarantees the activities of several bilateral commissions of historians (namely the Czech-Slovak and the Czech – Russian ones). The Council for International Contacts in the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic acts as its founder. Upon the suggestion of the CNCH Committee, the above-mentioned Council also makes the appointments of CNCH members. The Council also covers the fees connected with the representation of the Czech Republic at the International Committee of Historical Sciences.
